If you still want to join us keep an eye on the event at http://hobnonline.com/meetings/yaletown_2011-11-24 and see if anyone drops out so that you can take their spot.

Guests are always welcome in addition to the 25 RSVP's.

    Important Note about Inviting Guests:

Whenever you invite guests to an HOBN meeting in Yaletown please do educate them about the $7.50 minimum purchase, the two breakfast choices they have and what these include. This will ensure that the process at the counter is smooth and pleasant for everybody.

In the past few weeks there were several occasions where guests did not know about the minimum purchase or the existing breakfast options, which created awkward moments for both parties at the counter, in addition to time being wasted. And you know what a precious commodity time is at The Buzz on a Thursday morning. :-)

So please inform your guests about the experience at the Buzz, including how an early arrival may secure them a good spot at the table etc. This way they are prepared and are more likely to have an overall enjoyable experience.

Thanks a lot to you all for doing such a great job at bringing your connections to HOBN Yaletown - we appreciate the opportunity of getting to know all these wonderful folks.

Looking forward to our usual Thursday buzz at The Buzz!

I'm so glad you found that approach to be helpful. I think if we genuinely believe that there's value to be gained from someones product, service or even just their personality, that advocating on their behalf and introducing them on their behalf is the best way of expressing that. We all want warm referrals so why not ask your clients to make one for you?

That is a great way to reinforce the importance of the referral and to "double up" the equity of having made the referral in the first place. Well done Aaron.
