When: Thu, Jan 26, from 7:00am - 9:00am
Come early to reserve a seat and buy breakfast (minimum food/beverage order of $7.50).
IMPORTANT reminder:
If you are bringing guests please educate them about the HOBN food purchase policy and the breakfast options at the Buzz. There's a PDF of the menu at the chapter site at http://hobnonline.com/documents/breakfast-menu-at-the-buzz .
People generally appreciate knowing what to expect - so let's make an effort to inform our guests. Thank you! :-)

I have a few commitments for Social Media Week (http://socialmediaweek.org/vancouver) so I'll be on the Chapter set-up in earnest once that's wrapped.
Tentatively, we're looking at Tuesday evenings. The venue is TBA, but that we have this level of interest will help me approach a restaurant right away rather than starting at a café. Direct message me if there's a preference.

Important Note about Inviting Guests:
Whenever you invite guests to an HOBN meeting in Yaletown please do educate them about the $7.50 minimum purchase, the two breakfast choices they have and what these include. This will ensure that the process at the counter is smooth and pleasant for everybody.
In the past few weeks there were several occasions where guests did not know about the minimum purchase or the existing breakfast options, which created awkward moments for both parties at the counter, in addition to time being wasted. And you know what a precious commodity time is at The Buzz on a Thursday morning. :-)
So please inform your guests about the experience at the Buzz, including how an early arrival may secure them a good spot at the table etc. This way they are prepared and are more likely to have an overall enjoyable experience.
Thanks a lot to you all for doing such a great job at bringing your connections to HOBN Yaletown - we appreciate the opportunity of getting to know all these wonderful folks.

As of this very minute there are 4 spots left for this week Thursday. Go for it - it's the best networking in town!

As of this week Thursday, October 20th, we will be trying out a slightly different approach to our HOBN Yaletown meeting. Lately we have had over 30 or 35 participants at our meetings, which made it challenging to get through the whole group in a timely and effective manner.
In our effort to run a high quality meeting in our usual, more relaxed fashion that finishes early enough to allow for free networking at the end, we are now limiting the number of participants to 25.
That means you need to be one of the first 25 members to RSVP to be able to attend the meeting. We'll try it out for a few weeks and will see how it goes.
For this week's meeting we are fully booked as of a few minutes ago. So if you couldn't make it to the meeting for this week why don't you RSVP now for next week's meeting and make sure you get your spot?
