As a member of the board of Tradeworks I have a pretty close relationship with RONA and if I have a figure I can approach one of my contacts there. Your task would be to simply smile, greet the meeting attendees and direct them to one of the two existing places to purchase their breakfast.
While it is a simple task it is a very important one, since your help makes it possible for our meeting to start earlier, which results in more time to connect at the end of the meeting. So our volunteers help us to do more of what we get together for, which is network and connect!
Thank you in advance for considering to step up to the plate and help us out.

In keeping with making a difference in... see more At this morning's Surrey 212 Difference meeting we were made aware of a member who's 84 year old mother home is in need of repair, entailing some reconstruction. The family does not have the financial resources to hire a contractor to complete the work. In keeping with making a difference in our business, and communities and giving back, the Surrey 212 Difference Chapter has committed to mobilizing the resources to complete this work. The full extent of what's required will be done shortly. The purpose of this note is to reach out to the HOBN community to mobilize resources for construction materials and expertise. Please let me know if you know of people who would be willing to donate time and materials for this effort. I will reach out later with more details and scheduling for this undertaking. This note is to generate a list of resources we can call on for support. Feel free to contact myself to let me know who you know who can contribute what resources for this project.
