Please pass this on to those wanting to learn about travel writing or those interested in participating in small discussion groups/workshops around social media.
Saturday, April 28 at the Listel Hotel 1300 Robson Street Vancouver BC V6E 1C5
TIME: Noon registration, symposium is 1 pm - 3.30 approx.
THEME: "Social Media". Presentations and workshops by experts:
* Mari Kane, travel writer, will be presenting on WordPress
* Owen Clark, president of ByzHub, will give tips on blogging and tweeting
* Julie H. Ferguson, travel writer, will present on how to raise your profile online
Entry fee includes a delicious lunch, along with all the coffee, tea and snacks you can drink and eat. Plus lots of tourism-related door prizes, such as an overnight stay at the Empress in Victoria.
ADMISSION: $20 for Members, $40 for non-members
