My other leadership roles involved providing professional development possibilities for the districts, leading and participating in school wide evaluations, making a video on the various ways students learn, and, curriculum development, dissemination and evaluation. Post-retirement, I explored non-profit arts management with the Vancouver Society of Storytelling: grant writing, publication of a newsletter, developing connections with other arts groups, and board roles were some bits. As well, I researched living well in the second half of life and developed a series of workshops and conversations supported with a journal. Currently, they are being offered to women contemplating identity issues in the face of change. This second career enhances my goal of lifelong learning and a love affair with words and ideas.
