Accidental fracture, receive a tax free lump sum of $700 to $7000 depending on bone broken. If your kids are in sports & they break a bone you will need to take a bit of time off to be with them.
Accidental death, dismemberment or loss of use $70,000 for $7/month. If you aren't insurable medically this could be better than not having anything.
Hospital benefit paid in event of an accident $70 per day for $7/month
Disability insurance in the event of total disability from an accident in further to: hospitalization, dismemberment, fracture, major burn, major laceration: $700/month for 7 months for only $7 a month
As long as you live in Canada and are not currently disabled you will be accepted!

Most people name "things they possess" but the truth is your most valuable financial asset is your ability to generate an income. Without your income it does not take long for your lifestyle to grind to halt.
There are so many solutions available today I know I have one that could suit you.
Have you ever heard of loan disability? rather than paying an extra fee to your bank or credit card provider for coverage that really only protects them and isn't guaranteed to pay out. Why not put a plan in place that truly protects you? Loan disability will cover up to $5,000 a month of payments including things like:
Mortgage
Lines of Credit
Credit cards
Vehicle loans or lease payments
Leveraged loans for investments
Business loans
This coverage pays YOU so you can then pay your creditors.
It is medically underwritten and based on occupation classes but you do not have to provide any income verification or debt verification upfront (debts must be verified upon claim). They recognize that debts rise and fall over time so this is flexible and is NOT tied to your creditors, it is true protection for you.
One of the very cool things about this plan is it pays out IN ADDITION to any other plan you have in place.

I know it's not fun to think of but for those of you with a spouse who isn't the major wager earner but who performs a huge amount of work to keep the household running smoothly. Think about what would happen in the weeks following their death; Would you be able to go back to working the same hours? Would your child care costs increase? Your life would never be the same, but if there was proper coverage in place you would have the option to work less hours so you could spend time with your family. Insurance can't fix your life after a tragedy, but it can give you the independence to make your future what you want it to be.
