You need to have your investment completed before the end of the year in order to claim the provincial and federal tax credits for 2011. The process takes a little time so if you wait until December to do your tax planning you may miss the opportunity (if you wait until Christmas you'll definitely miss it). Talk to your advisor. There are some excellent flow through partnerships available.
